If you never completed your first sign-in, your account is still waiting for you to set a password. In that case, Forgot password? sends you a new temporary password instead of a reset code, and the page says Temporary Password Sent!.
Open the new email and copy the temporary password.
Sign in with your email and that temporary password.
Set your own password when asked.
