Dashboards and widgets
Dashboard: a set of live views of your data, split into sections.
Section: one page of a dashboard.
Widget: one table, chart or scorecard on a dashboard.
Scorecard: a widget that shows one number, sometimes against a target.
Drill down: select a point on a chart to see the detail behind it.
As of date: one day; each widget counts its own period back from it.
Date range: a start and an end that every widget uses.
Permanent filters: filters built into a dashboard that always apply.
Available filters: filters you can choose on a dashboard.
Reports
Report: widgets emailed to recipients on a schedule.
Reference date: the "as of" date a report's data is taken from, counted from the day it's sent.
Your data
Data date: when your data was last updated, shown at the top of every page.
Property access: which properties you can see, set by your role or by an admin for you.
Same Store: comparing only properties you've owned for the whole period (12 months, 24 months or year to date), so acquisitions and sales don't distort the trend.
T12: the trailing twelve months. F12: the forward twelve months.
NOI: net operating income.
Access
Role: the set of permissions and property access a group of users shares.
Admin, Editor, Viewer: UDP's default roles.
Monitoring
Custom agent: a routine that checks your data on a schedule.
Radar item: something a custom agent found that needs attention.
Responsible: the person who owns a Radar item.
KPI: a key performance indicator, with rules that color a number by how it's doing.
