A dashboard's address includes the section and the dates you picked. Copy the address from your browser and send it: the person who opens it sees the same section and dates.

They see it with their own access, so if their property access is different, the numbers can be too.

Your filters are not in the link. Tell them which filters you used, or ask the dashboard's owner to add them as Permanent Filters.
