"This agent needs attention"

Why an agent stopped or can't run, and how to fix it.

An agent shows a banner when something needs you. The common ones:

  • Needs responsible person: the responsible person is no longer active. Edit the agent and choose someone else.

  • Custom agent paused, "This custom agent's data has changed and it was automatically paused": select Update agent and review it, then resume it.

  • Can't reach your inbox: the agent reads a Microsoft 365 mailbox and the connection has expired. Select Reconnect.

  • Agent property scope no longer overlaps the creator property access scope: the agent watches properties its creator can no longer see. Change its scope, or ask an admin to restore the access.

  • Schema mismatch detected: the agent's last result wasn't in the expected shape. Edit the agent and check its condition.

The agent's creator also gets a notification in the bell when an agent fails repeatedly.

If you can't tell what's wrong, contact us with the agent's name.
